This Website's Future

I have to admit that I'm not as huge of a KoRn as I used to be. This site can sort of maintain itself to some extent but I'd either need to stick around to approve user submissions or find someone to help keep track of such things for me.

Also, the version of PHP Fusion for this site needs to be updated the website's current theme to me now looks really messy and just not very good. I think that if I'd want to "start this site back up", I'd need to put in a lot more work than I think I'm willing to do right now.

From what I've heard so far from KoRn's latest album particularly "Oildale (Leave Me Alone)", this album is not going to be very good. I'm going to try to listen through the whole thing but from just that song and even the music video it feels, to use a bit of a cliche term-that they've chosen "style over substance". They're trying to harken back to their original style of music, which isn't necessarily bad but it feels like they're following a formula and the lyrical content is just the same old angsty stuff only this time it all feels sorta forced.

If anything, the last thing I might do with this site is post some kind of review of this new album (particularly the lyrics)-who knows I might end up having a few good things to say about it-I'll probably do some sort of transcription of the lyrics so I can attempt to dissect them and see if I can find any solid meaning to them.

I'm still not sure if we've got all the lyrics from KoRn's earlier albums yet-and it's been like two years since I originally created the site. Wow.
